Phinean Gardner

Phinean founded Meridian to build a competitive, community-rooted club independent of any single school. A Cal letterman and First Team All-American, he brings a coaching philosophy grounded in mentorship, accountability, and long-term athlete development.

John Roemer

John brings decades of coaching experience at the club, high school, and collegiate levels. A seven-time Coach of the Year and 2022 California High School Coach of the Year, he is the backbone of Meridian's competitive development system.
